This was truly one of the best meals my husband and I have ever had, if not the best. Every course was intentional and perfectly thought out. We found this on the Michelin guide. Do yourself a favor and skip the lines of all the viral places elsewhere and come here. In addition, to the food being wonderful the wine selection and service were so impressive. The person who served us knew everything about every dish. Just wonderful
We loved the dining experience, from listening to the story on how the concept of the restaurant came together to the kindness of the service. The menu is delicious, from the nibbles you get at the start…the Palamos prawns perfectly marinated and the bluefin tuna to the dessert. We enjoyed every single dish! And the dessert…was out of this world and I don’t even like sweet things…but the warm dates cake with the cream on top…is just the perfect combination! And I need to mention the smoked butter, it was delicious, we even asked if we could take a piece home! Definitely a place to not miss in Barcelona!
Absolutely spectacular!!!! The food was outstanding and the service have a personal touch that make the experience even more memorable. Every dish on the menu stands out, making it hard to choose just one favorite!! But the scallops, maitake and the bluefin tartar were truly exceptional, without a doubt a lovely place, I'll be back for sure!
My expectations were high after a strong recommendation from a good friend, but Âme exceeded them. The restaurant is run entirely by two chefs: Pachi, who doubled as host and server, and the chef in the kitchen. Every dish showed creativity and balance: the white asparagus vichyssoise, roasted maitake with foie gras and cashew sauce, Palamós prawns with sea essence, barely poached scallop with shellfish foam, salmorejo with strawberry and yellowtail, and an excellent Spanish and French cheese selection. The date pudding was a perfect finish. The unhurried pace made the evening even better, allowing time to savor every course. Âme is intimate, precise, and unforgettable, and will stop here again each visit to Barcelona.
Can't say I was not surprised to find mostly Japanese imported for their seafood ingredients as they wanted to conserve the seafood here in Spain. And alot of Asian influence in their seasoning and other ingredients such as the vegetables. But overall good quality and live up to its Michelin reputation. Opens late as most Spanish restaurants. Service was by three person that rotated as chefs and sous chef.
A gem of a restaurant. A lot of care goes into the food, every bite is lovely, and even though its smaller portions you will be full at the end of the night. The staff was very nice and will gladly help with wine recommendations for your tastes. Our group loved the experience. Will definitely go again!
It is modern french cuisine with skillful use of Japanese ingredients. It’s like a French-Kaiseki cuisine. The starter consommé soup had a hint of dashi .The hamachi dish was served with viegre source (like a ponzu)which milden oily taste of hamachi and gave it a delicious flavor. It was recommended to us that it is best paired with Japanese sake, so we tried. We were surprised at the marriage. It was impressed by the delicate flavor of viegre source .Of course, all the food impressed us. There is no wine pairing, but the sous chef made a perfect wine pairing with glass of wine. Very stylish and has become my favorite restaurant in Barcelona. The chefs have wonderful personalities. We will definitely visit again!.
The best experience at a restaurant in my life, I don't like fish or sea-food, but...this was out of this world, it was amazing!!! The dish size are flawless to experience each flavor without tiring, the order of each dish/flavors is like a music scale, in all a harmony that leaves you completely satisfied. All this with a beatiful wine list, excelent recomendations (coming from Argentina we like strong red wines), supereb stuff attention. You taste the passion they put in this place, the Walter White/Heisenberg of the chefs. With Sagrada Familia this is now my MUST in Barcelona.
